You won’t find a better way to start your day… than attending FMC on Thursday mornings for a cup of hot coffee, a hearty breakfast, great fellowship and a study of God’s Word.

What started 6 years ago, as a small group of 5 or 6 men, meeting on Thursday mornings, in a Sunday School classroom, for coffee, donuts and a Bible Study, has evolved into about 30+ men and women (yes, we have a number of ladies and several couples who regularly attend), who gather in Martin Fellowship Hall for a full Texas breakfast, served freshly cooked by the finest cooks we’ve got, enjoying each other’s fellowship and ‘participating’ in a study of God’s Holy Word.  6 years ago, our pastor led the studies and all attendees were male members of FMC.  Today, our 3 or 4 Bible Study leaders are ALL Laity (allowing our pastors to be participants), who bring studies of Holy Scripture to life, encouraging active participation by all of those in attendance. And the group is now comprised of both men AND women, and includes a large percentage of non-Methodist believers in Jesus Christ.  We welcome ALL who want to come and share fellowship and study God’s word.

Breakfast is served at 6:30 am (but come a little early if you’d like an extra cup of coffee)… and Bible Study begins at 7.  We’re done by 8 am, but those who have to be at work or other commitment on an early morning, can (and do) leave a little early (no problem).  We gather EVERY Thursday morning (except holidays) and break thru the summer, meeting on just one Thursday each month.

We’re a praying group of sinners who like bacon and eggs, sausage gravy and fresh fruit and yearn to hear God’s Word.
