Welcome to the Library:  The First Methodist Church Library was established sometime after 1928 when the addition was built to add Sunday School rooms and offices.  It has been said that the books originated from former ministers who retired or were donated by their families after they passed.  The library is located near the welcome center in the main hallway.  The library currently houses books on a wide variety of topics including Prayer, Inspirational reading, Biographies and autobiographies, Bible Studies both Old and New Testament, Theology, and Spiritual Growth.  In addition, topics include Missions, Methodism, Poetry, Fiction, Grief, Death, and Aging as well as Marriage and Family.   New sections were recently added that include Leadership, Social Justice, Environmental Concerns as well as Young Adult and Children's books.

To check out a book simply pull the card from the book and sign your name and the date, then file the card under your last name.
