What Are Your Worship Services Like?
At First Methodist Church, our worship services are centered on God’s Word and designed to inspire and transform lives. Through heartfelt music, prayer, and preaching, we seek to honor Christ and grow in our faith. Every service includes a time for prayer, preaching, and giving, with messages deeply rooted in Scripture to guide and encourage you on your spiritual journey.

We offer three unique Sunday morning worship opportunities:

8:30 AM Traditional Service: Held in our historic sanctuary, this service features the majestic sounds of our pipe organ, piano, and choir, offering a reverent and uplifting worship experience.
10:50 AM Traditional Service: This service mirrors the 8:30 AM traditional style for those preferring a later time.
11:00 AM Contemporary Service – The Current: Located in the Great Hall, this modern service is led by a dynamic worship team that uses contemporary music and a vibrant atmosphere to glorify God.

Where Should I Park?
Convenient parking is available near the church, with designated spots close to the sliding doors for those with mobility needs.

Where Do I Go When I Arrive?
Our friendly greeters will be ready to assist you as soon as you arrive.

For traditional services, enter through the front doors under the archway on 3rd Street.
For The Current (contemporary service), use the sliding doors under the portico.

Do You Provide Childcare?
Absolutely! We offer clean, safe, and well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers during all worship services. Children up to age 7 are also invited to participate in Children’s Church, which begins after the children’s message during the service.

What Should I Wear?
Come as you are! While some attendees prefer business casual or formal attire, others feel comfortable in jeans and t-shirts. What matters most to us is your presence, not your outfit.
